We are currently hiring a Imaging Service Engineer I for our client who is a premier provider of integrated technology manager service, systems, services, and parts in hospitals throughout the United States. The position will report directly to the Senior Engineer Technician and is responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and safety testing.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, perform electrical safety checks and conduct preventative maintenance as required.
- Maintain and generate records associated with all actions performed on customer equipment. Report to dispatcher within 24 hours of start of the job.
- Source and price parts.
- Act in compliance with facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Maintain and document inventories as directed.
- Conduct and maintain duties, personal appearance, interactions with fellow employees, staff, and customers in a professional manner.
- Comply with ongoing educational opportunities provided and use unassigned time to increase knowledge on technology and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Two-year degree from an accredited school in electronics.
- Completed internship with an accredited program.
- Hands on experience servicing imaging equipment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Willing to travel for work 50% of the time, including some over-night travel.
- Ability to work in a busy environment in constant contact with staff and public.
- Requires frequent standing, walking, and bending for long periods of time (60%-80%).
- Must be able to lift-up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Must maintain an active state driver’s license and the ability to be covered by corporate insurance.
- Ability to work in outside elements up to 10% of the time, the reminder will be inside air conditioned/ heated facilities.
